@nyreen: What is it about those stories that attract you?
As for what I'd like to write, anything relating to my characters would be ideal. I've had them in my head for so long it's about time I did something with them. Considering their personalities, a mystery or adventure would be best.
Unfortunately, I've been reluctant to start writing because I'm not particularly skilled at story-telling. But the only way I'll improve is if I practice, so once I come up with an idea I like, I'll run with it.

@Quoth the Raven: madoka was REALLY dark. and showed a lot of realistic things for magical girls. like the violence and danger, risking your life to keep the world safe. as for the others, i remember them being really wholesome. they also all focus a lot on companionship, esp friendship between girls, and it's just nice to see that. a bunch of girls that deeply love and care about each other and who would do whatever they could to protect each other.
