@SnakeWeaver: Haha I just thought they sounded cool and looked badass back then. I wasn't really the "noone understands me" kinda teen more like the "I wanna be seen as cool so people will be my friend" kinda teen. Now that I am grown I know how to find people that I can get along with and not sweat it if not every woodland creature wants to be my friend. :vanora_xd:
@Saeyra: Ahhh, okay xD Lol, yeah during our teens and early 20's our brain tries to focus more on socializing so we end up with a group of comrades. While not everyone falls into that, its still a survival function and probably was more useful at some earlier point in time. Yay to being an adult?

I blended up a navy bean soup. We were given a dry soup base from my mom that she'd gotten from a church.
So we made it and blended it, and we're gonna make the soup we usually make, and add this into it for extra flavor and thickening. (Cuz the base wasn't enough for a 4 person dinner)
We usually make a simple potato soup with whatever meat we have on hand.

@Rallaa: Sounds good! I love soup. My mom used to use instant mashed potatoes to thicken soups sometimes. Depending on the soup, you don’t really taste it. That way you get the food value from the potato rather than just a bunch of dissolved flour. :3 (Közi loves to cook)

This is gonna be a pretty extravagant soup for us.
Using an extra soup base that we blended, also using a couple packs of bacon for the meat, and we have extra broth sitting around so we're gonna use that instead of water.

Yeah, the instant potatoes are really useful. Also good for the GF folks, since a lot of brands have gone that route, and GF gravy/sauce mixes aren’t available yet in all areas, or can be pricey. :3
