Just as she finished saying that, she heard her brother's voice.

"Hello, Vicki." Lindsay greeted her.

"I must say, this is an... unexpected visit." he commented.

"Especially since nobody knows about this." he said further.

"Care to explain what you're doing here, and what you're talking about?" he then inquired.

"I'm rather busy right now, and do NOT want to be interrupted."

"....Nix?" Lindsay asked.

"The hell...?" he muttered.

"Anyway, what?" he then asked her, stepping forward.

"How do you know about that?" he asked further.

"And why do you want to stop it?" he then inquired.

"Surely there is no more noble goal than allowing mortals and mages to see eye-to-eye." he commented.

"Destroy the world!?" Lindsay exclaimed.

"What do you... I mean, I know that mortals can't handle an influx of mana beyond what they naturally have." he told her.

"That's what the Chrono-Crocuses are for." he said.

"It'll be a timed release." he explained.

"That will give them time to get used to it. It will work!" he told her.

".............it should work, anyway..." he then muttered.

"Admittedly, I need to do more tests with the bloom..."

"HEY!" Lindsay exclaimed, before rushing forward and getting between her and the drawer.

"How do you know this!?" he asked her.

"Seriously. Explain your actions and your knowledge. NOW." he demanded.

"Otherwise, this is destruction of my personal private property." he told her.

"I don't know WHAT'S gotten into you-" he then went on, before pausing suddenly.

"...is this about the nightmares you've been having?" he inquired, his tone more concerned now.

Lindsay suddenly grasped at her shoulders.

"Victoria!" he exclaimed.

"EXPLAIN!" he demanded.

"All you're doing is speaking in riddles now! What are you talking about!?" he exclaimed further.

"Victoria, just TELL me what you're doing, and what's going on!" he said.

"Don't just spout nonsense and destroy my work!"

"HOW do you know this!?" Lindsay asked.

"You speak as though you have acquired this knowledge in a very hard way." he told her.

"HOW?" he asked again.

"Right now, all it sounds like, is that you hate my work, and are looking for ANY reason to destroy it." he then told her further, sounding more and more exasperated.

"And you keep saying I'm destroying this world." he went on.

"But you're not even attempting to explain it to me in such a way that makes sense!" he protested further.

"Unless your claim is that you're a time traveller, somehow." he then added.

Lindsay gritted his teeth when Vic said all she did.

"Yes. You're a psychic." he said.

"So you saw a vision of what you say?" he asked her.

"...Victoria, are you THAT hellbent on this?" he then asked her further.

"Or is this about me?" he then inquired. "Because you seem to harbour some resentment and anger towards me." he commented.

"Regardless, you're going to just keep trying to destroy everything here, aren't you?" he then asked. "While being vague and angry."

"I'm NOT!" Lindsay insisted.

"All I want is for everyone on the earth to get along with each other! To understand each other!" he told her.

"................" he was then silent, before his grip on her loosened.

"....is that so wrong?" he asked.

"Surely there's no harm in that wish..."

Lindsay, the curious sort that he was, looked at the orb that was approaching him, and held his arms out towards it.

When he did, the orb touched his hands, and absorbed into him.

When it did, his eyes widened considerably, and he fell to his knees, a horrified expression in his eyes now.

He was seeing her world.

And it was horrifying him.

As she destroyed everything in the lab, Lindsay said nothing.

Did nothing.

He seemed to be frozen in place, eyes wide with horror, as he seemed to stare into the distance.

But she knew what was happening.

It just seemed that it was actually horrifying him to the point where he couldn't move.

Which meant that she could continue her campaign of destruction uninhibited.
