I only joined a few minutes ago so I don't know a lot about Voltra. I tried to dress my Avatar but I think I'm doing it wrong.
I like Zelda and Pokemon and those are popular in the West too so I hope I meet others who like Zelda and Pokemon too. I also like fantasy storys and cartoons but a lot of Western ones are too hard for me to understand, so I want to do my own some day. I like Vampires and Ghosts and Demons and Angels.

I found Voltra by accident. I was on YouTube and it showed me a Neopets video so I watched it. In the Recommended, it showed a Dragon in a thumbnail, so I saw it and it was about "pet sim" and I thought it was for The Sims game. As for Pokemon, I actually only know what was in the show that I watched in the 90s. (I'm old, I know. ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽ ) But like I said, I've also seen stuff in passing, so the characters that I recognize the most are May and Hilda, haha. :)
But if we're sharing favorite Pokemon, here are mine! I probably only really know the first two generations, maybe even the third, lol.

In English-only, I liked reading The Midnight Man, because it is similar but not the same. I like them because they sound a bit silly, but the reason they're scary is because your mind plays tricks when you're scared, so the experiences feel real to the person happening to them!! Σ(‘◉⌓◉’)

As for my username, I chose it from the album Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness by Coheed and Cambria. :) Although I really love the album, I also went with it because I'm fond of Greek mythology. (Roman as well, if you're curious).

@Totalanimefan: I have to use a dictionary a lot too, for English! And even for Japanese some times, Kanji is so hard... (ﾉ*´▽)ﾉ Using a dictionary is good because it helps you learn and soon you will use it for new words because you remembered words from the dictionary already!
My big sister learned English ever since she tried the internet! She talks to many Americans and people in the West, and does for so long now.

She takes care of me the most with my big brother, and she talks in English a lot for me to learn. I only starting learning a few years but my big sister is so good with her foreign friends. I watch YouTube in English with auto-generation closed captions to learn also! Talking with English Speakers like I do right now also helps so I can see how they use English words.
