Tell him the thrift shops always have vinyl and for hardly anything.
I bought a few lp’s over the last few years and they mainly came from thrift shops.
I also got a bunch from my mother. A few of them are pretty rare and imported straight from Ireland (guess what kind of music).
Funny enough, I’m changing a few things in my house again. A few things are going out and other things will get changed around. The only old thing that will stay is my record player.
@vengeance: I have a few particular albums. I don't trust me record player right now, though. I think the wiring needs some help, since it is quite old.

@Tuijp: My dad sometimes goes there but he never finds anything. He is only looking for good quality records and businessman are also looking for those. So unless he goes there atleast 3 times a week like those businessman do, changes of him finding something there are slim.
@Kozi: I don't have a record player XD I stream everything of spotify.

@vengeance: I also only buy they good looking ones, unless it’s a rare record and I want it for the sake of having it.
@Tuijp: The only lesser looking records he might buy are the ones with a corner cut out. Back in the days they did that with import records. He saw a Crosby Stills Nash & Young record yesterday and as soon as he picked it up I was like "It's taped in the back". He looked and put it back.
