Happy Thanksgiving (to those who celebrate)!
Generally in my family and experience, everyone is tasked with bringing a dish or two.
This year, I attended 2 early Thanksgivings with friends and family. I have already made a green bean casserole for one and apple crisp for the other. Today we are bringing mashed and roasted potatoes.

@selikait: Hahahaha! Oh my goodness. I’m totally reading minds today. I just asked you that. I’ve been saying and singing the same things as my roommate before he even says them. It’s been a good witchy day. I’m super excited to eat Pecan pie, macaroni salad, and pumpkin pie. My aunt makes me and my cousin vegan versions of everything. This will be the first pecan pie I’ve had in over 8 years. I’m thrilled to death. *dies*

We aren't seeing any family or going anywhere. So, it's just 2 adults and 1 tyrant toddler. We are making our favorite sides and we shall eat like Kings. For days.

@selikait: I like the cookies better than regular pecan pie. Pecan pie has a lot of gooey filling that gets old after the first bite or so. These cookies give you that first bite every time. :D This is your year!
