@kiwi: A primer would be better to start it. Painting on the vinyl, I had to let it dry longer between coats to make sure it would stick. I just didn't have primer at the time >.> lol.

@Hachi: Those big caterpillars were from Florida. I'm way more up north in Massachusetts. I'm lucky where I live. There are a lot of hiking options close by, but I do travel to other places every once in a while to explore them.

@Hachi: I’ve never left the East coast. I’ve been up and down it through my life for vacations, but no farther west. I really want to visit California someday.

I’ve always liked the seclusion of the woods, but only got into hiking after college. I had a lot of respiratory issues growing up, so some activities are hard, but I’ve gotten over most of them. I still have to take a lot of breaks when we’re on an incline. My knees and calves burn. I can walk a lot, but the inclines are what kill me.

I feel like I’m a weird mix of outdoorsy and not. I like being outside and getting fresh air, but a lot of my hobbies are indoor, such as video games and surfing the internet. When I’m outside, I like the privacy and quietness of just the trees around. I love to read and tend the campfire when I go camping.
