"Well, at least I'll get the shot." Jackson replied.

"If I were to be in any other highschool in this city, there's a chance... well... someone would try to kill me." he told her bluntly, shaking his head.

"At least here I'll have more... 'normal'... teenage problems." he reasoned.

"For whatever that word means." he mumbled, shaking his head once more.

"Sorry, just... yeah, feeling good about being here." he admitted with a light chuckle.

"We'll see how long before the novelty wears off."

"Heh." Jackson chuckled.

"That makes sense." he said.

He then thought for a moment, seeming to mull something over in his mind.

"So do you attend classes?" he asked.

"Or do you do more... staff-related work?" he asked her further.

"Like, it clearly seems you're not really one of the students here, even though you look it. Or at least, your host is, anyway..." he mumbled quietly.

"So, do you come and go as you please, doing whatever?" he inquired.

"Or do you have a set schedule?"

"I can see that." Jackson responded.

"I mean, you know so much, being a tutor would only make sense." he reasoned.

"And yeah, I suppose it would be less boring to attend classes, as opposed to just sitting around doing nothing." he reasoned further, thinking about it.

"...no matter how many times the opposite seems true." he admitted with a sigh.

"I guess I officially start classes tomorrow then?" he asked her.

"Well, good." Jackson replied.

"It's good to know where I'm going." he reasoned.

"Suppose I should get my schedule and stuff later." he mumbled.

"Maybe we'll share some classes." he said with a chuckle.

"...or you might end up tutoring me." he then mumbled.

"Biology... isn't my strong suit." he admitted sheepishly.

He blinked a couple of times when she said that.

"....oh yeah." he said.

"Forgot about that." he admitted.

"Was required in my previous school for whatever reason." he told her further.

"Oh well." he sighed.

"Hopefully I'll be thinking straighter tomorrow."

"I should." Jackson replied.

"I hope so, anyway." he said.

"And yeah, after this, I should probably get to know the rest of the area, and the building." he then reasoned.

"Hmmm. Yeah, that's probably for the best." he nodded.

"Also... this food is pretty damn excellent." he said, changing the subject.

"Like... better than most restaurants I've been to."

"Sweet!" Jackson exclaimed.

"That's pretty awesome." he commented.

"I'll have to remember that." he said further, before looking right at her.

"What's your fave?" he asked. "Cuisine, that is." he clarified.

"You have one?" he asked further.

"Just... wondering." he said.

"I'm partial to Mediterranean as well." Jackson responded.

"Buuuuut... I'd say Korean beats it out." he told her.

"Like, Korean BBQ." he clarified.

"I can't get enough of the stuff." he admitted, licking his lips a little.

"But, I'd probably need to pay for it. Not sure how popular it'd be amongst the general student body." he said further, adjusting his goggles some.

"....might be worth it though." he then laughed.

"Yeah?" Jackson asked.

"I'd be up for that." he told her.

"I'd just need to make sure I have the funds." he said with a shrug.

"Not that hard, really." he said, before looking around.

"I do some... freelance vermin control." he informed her.

"It's easy to get rid of rats when they're little stone statuettes." he whispered.

Jackson smirked at her comment.

"Or you." he said.

"But yeah, I tend to get rid of rats sometimes." he reiterated.

"Depends on getting work, admittedly." he shrugged.

"Anyway, yeah, I'd go halfsies with you for Korean BBQ." he confirmed. "Or, if you like, Mediterranean. I'd be up for that as well." he assured her.

"And do you want to clear out of here before the lunch rush?" he asked.
