"Oh, nice." Jackson responded, as he continued to eat.

"Also, nice watch." he commented.

"Looks pretty quality." he said.

"Kinda old, too." he went on.

"Had it a while?" he asked further.

"......I would imagine so." Jackson said.

"Not that I know anything about that, but I would imagine so." he reiterated.

"It's still really cool." he repeated with another shrug.

"Anyway, yeah, it... it must suck to have time become... well, weird and meaningless." he went on.

"I wish I could empathize with you. Know how you feel."

".....your tone fills me with unease and slight dread." Jackson admitted.

"But... well... hm." he then mumbled.

"Part of me really wants to know what it's like to be you." he said.

"As I said, I can't know what you go through, and it makes me feel like crap." he told her further, shaking his head a little.

"That's all." he continued.

"And hey, knowledge is power, yeah?"

"Might be a bit much?" Jackson asked.

"Hm. I see." he said.

"What do you mean by that?" he asked her.

"What... are the possible complications here?" he asked further.

"Because... you look like you reeeeeeally don't want to do this."

Jackson raised an eyebrow when she said all that.

"Hm. Interesting." he said.

"Those... ARE concerning." he admitted.

"But something is nagging at me even more to do it now." he sighed, shaking his head.

"But nightmares and/or night terrors? I'll take that risk." he told her honestly.

"Because, I admit, I'm VERY fascinated now." he then admitted to her.

Jackson watched her go to get more food, and as he did, he noticed people looking at her... some briefly, others staring. And they mumbled to each other.

He just sighed when he saw this.

'...guess it's true that she's a bit of a point of interest.' he thought.

'And not in a good way at times.' he then thought further.

He then narrowed his eyes as he scanned the room. For whatever reason, it annoyed him to see people judging her.

"Eh?" he muttered, taking in the situation.

'A fight?" he wondered.

He then noticed that the altercation was drawing attention, and a circle was forming around those that were fighting, though he couldn't see who they were.

He made his way over to the circle of people, and tapped one on the shoulder.

"S'going on?" he asked.

"Who's duking out with who?"

Jack immediately and reflexively blushed when he heard the student respond with 'his girlfriend', but shook his off.

'Damn it all.' he cursed mentally.

"Right." he said, as he started to push his way through the crowd. He squeezed between people, lightly pushed them aside, and eventually made his way to the inner ring.

Where he did, in fact, see Alex and Ana.

"All right, this time you get what's coming to you!" Alex declared to Ana.

Alex just growled at her when she made her threats.

"See, THAT'S what I'm talking about." he said.

"You think you're SO much better than us, just because you happen to be some teachers' favourite gopher, and think your power is SOOOO great." he commented.

He was then silent, and smirked.

"Also, if you're technically staff, then you can't lay a hand on me." he told her.

"Not legally, anyway."

Again, Alex growled.

"Shut up." he said.

"You always think you're better than us. You think you're above all us!" he declared.

He was then about to lunge at her, when Jackson whistled loudly and shrilly, through his fingers.

"Yo!" he called out.

"What!?" Alex exclaimed.

"Nothin'. Just wanted to see if the dog would respond to being whistled at." Jackson replied, causing snickering and guffawing amongst the students.
