@Colin: I don't hate her at all, I just like her companions more than her. Especially Graham, he is so lovable. And some of the characters she encounters are also scene stealers because they are so amazing. Allan Cummings for example did a super great job in one of the recent episodes.

@saeyra: Ah yes, I've heard that the companions are the ones that shine more than The Doctor, herself. I'll have to find a place where I can find new episodes and catch up. I've heard they're teasing the Daleks for the new year.

And I got into it because Colin gave me a Doctor Who shirt that didn't fit him... so I thought it was high time I stepped up and actually checked the series out. XD

@saeyra: I have no clue what the writers have planned for them now, but it'll definitely be interesting.

And I got into Doctor Who because... well... I was a bit of a lonely child. And yes, I know that's depressing, but not as much as you'd initially think. I lived in a very rural area (to understate it), and didn't have any friends that lived closeby, that I could just visit or whatever. So I spent a lot of time at home. As such, I was often around when my parents would watch their shows. As such, I grew up watching Star Trek: TNG, M*A*S*H, WKRP in Cincinnati, and.... Doctor Who.

After McCoy's run ended, and the show went on a bit of a... hiatus... I found myself wanting to watch more of it, so I hunted for whatever I could find to watch. I guess the like of it never truly went away.

Ah cool! My hubby showed me the first episode of Matt's Doctor and I fell in love. Then watched David and then Christopher, before going on to Capaldi and now Jodie. Its a messed up order haha

I watched the first with Christopher, then he changed and I took a break.
Then watched the first with David (and thr last with Rose) before taking another break.
Now I'm just enjoying it and not worrying about who is in it. Lol.
(I liked Christopher and eventually grew to like Rose. Really didn't in the beginning)

Also gotta laugh at how Donna was in the USA version of the office too.
