Tired, work was awful this week. Then in the middle of the week I found out my fill-in was leaving to go back to work he used to do. He is working one more day & that is it. I find it a bit annoying when people leave with so little notice. As slow as they are about hiring people it will probably be March before I get another fill-in.

What makes no sense at all to me it that the job he is going to is gonna be less than 6 months. Why would you give up a steady job for a 6 month job. All I can figure out is the money must have been really good. He asked the boss to hold the job, but we have never been able to do that for anyone else who left. We had one who left & came back about a year later, but had to go through all the process to get hired again. Since it is corporate you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get hired.
jobs are always a struggle. i hope it works out for him :O
