That bottom hand. The more I stare at it...the more it looks like a deformed potato.

Dunno if it'll help, but try rotating the ref upside down if you haven't and draw it from that angle? Kinda gets your brain to see what's really there instead of what you expect to see (or something like that. I'll probably pull the explanation from one of my art books later as well if you're interested, lol)

Well, I definitely spent more time on this than I should have, lol.
decided to make it part of my daily drawing routine, hence the date and notes

These were 10 minutes each without erasing anything: sketch 1 l sketch 2
cursed hand by itself took approximately 28 minutes, lol

I... guess it didn't come out too bad?

@Millet: Did it help you with your drawing? The perspective is a little difficult. My advise is try to keep your lines thin and neat so you can see what you are doing? If you are doing traditional, investing in tracing paper/lightbox might be a huge help in cleaning up your drawings.
