We had a lot of stray cats in the last place I lived and they would get into it from time to time. Crazy how loud they can be. Always at night too.

So, it was a mountain lion. (Puma) Must have been pretty large, as my whole deck groaned when it walked across it.

Not that that means much. The previous owners built the deck, so it's terrible and I don't go on it
