MM3 is actually my favorite since it's the one I grew up with. XD Snake Man's stage is probably my favorite.

Meganeko is a fun blend of EDM and chip. I think EDM is the proper term anyway? I'll try to come up with some others, perhaps in another thread ahaha.

MM3 is very good and I was lucky enough to have 2, 3 and 4! I liked 2 the best but I think 4 is probably the most solid from a game design standpoint.

There's one collaboration album called Chiptunes = WIN and those are always a great resource for finding new artists too

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
I not only adore the game, but the music in it is just so wonderful. Fantasy styled with hints or like medieval sounds so it really puts into the right mood for the story. I seriously can't recommend it enough if you're into more traditional/orchestrated sounds

While the story isn't very good, the reboot of Devil May Cry--DMC-- had a pretty good sounds track.
