Very possibly has something to do with the way it's done, and presented.
Like... The X Files and Doctor Who, while both are good, have a VERY different presentation than something like Roswell.
So honestly? I do. I think it's just the presentation (and the way they write the Doctor, of course)
oh my gosh....x-files. My mom was watching them all day here a few months ago. o.o; i had to leave the room. i can only handle one or two episodes a day or...week. but all day!...im glad it stopped v.v;

I don't doubt that they are really good in terms of writing and whatnot, but... I dunno, the vid quality.
I'm kinda picky with that, I suppose. XD
(I don't even like teh almost 'glow' that you can see on bright areas with the first season of the reboot - with Christopher as the doctor.)

Yeah. I am pretty curious about the story line. Especially since some of the characters appear in later season (like Sarah Jane Smith and the mention of K9).
Yeah, technology has spoiled us in terms of quality.

And wondering about storylines is what lookin' up scripts or episode summaries is good for, lol.
I mean, not [b]as good[/s] as watching the actual episode, but if ya can't stomach the whole quality thing, that IS an option =)
(Also, the one ep I've seen K9 in, I want that damned dog XD)

Yeah. Maybe eventually I will try to watch them all. We shall see. It also depends on where and if I can find them for free.

Being in Canada I have access to something called Crave. It's got HBO stuffs.
And it has the reboot of Doctor who (Although I don't h ave any of the Jodi episodes yet =( )

Ah. We had Amazon Prime for a little while and could stream the episodes off of it. Though now we do not have that service right now. Had to select which services to keep and which to forgo.
That makes sense.
