Seriously. It's been unusually cold out where I am. Actually, as far as I know, for the entirety of Canada...

Last I heard, the prairie provinces were getting POLAR temps. Like that's insane.

Last night, where I am in Southern Ontario, it reached -30C with a -41C windchill.

Like come on. DX

Can this cold go away? That's insane.

Who is in a warmer place than me? Share your heat? XD

its been so cold this eyar that we're trying to get the landlord to coem in and fix our heat because its jsut to cold i mean our windows have FROST and ICE forming ont hem its so cold outside.

Meaning... isn't it a legal requirement for him to have the heater fixed and working?
If I'm right on that... then you would actually have all rights to go twhatever the 'landlord tenant board' is for you (that's what it's called here, no idea for you.) and file a complain to get them in trouble. Or at least get someone on their case about fixing something that should be fixed and working.

I'm living in tropical country and our weather is a bit chilly too which is common during the months of December to February. In the highlands, their temperature can drop to as low as 8 Degrees Celsius.

@Amber Lynne: its more we have to clean up so they can reach the heat vents, we want to dot aht before we have them come in but its been reaching 20 to 40 degrees below zero so we have to get our behinds on that.

Low singles and negatives, wind chills double digit negatives. Anything below -25 requires schools to cancel and the past two days saw many schools cancel by that state law.

Yeah, as far as I'm aware, schools were closed yesterday and today here too.
I know the postal system weren't really working either because of the extreme cold weather. It was a case of 'no. You go delivering mail and you're getting frostbite. Go home.'
Or something to that extent.

Here in the darkness I know myself

This evening it was 4 degrees when I had to go out
And it wasn’t because I wanted to ._.
Wayyy to cold for me.

Saturday I’ll be in Arizona though, so nicer weather is near.

@Amber Lynne: Many here delivered mail anyway, particularly those who know this is an elderly person's home, that person lives alone, and the like. Make sure those people are okay and give them at least someone to see, even if only briefly.

Kinda like how the homeless shelters here are pretty full at the moment, especially witht he frigid weather.
There are extra places - churchs and the like - opening their doors for those that need somewhere to sleep during this cold snap.
