She was silent as she made her way through the halls of the school. She had to get to the library to print off her essay, but she knew that she was barely allowed there right now. It was after hours, and she was already late for her essay, but at the same time, she knew that her professor was cool with it. He had told his class numerous times as long as it was on his desk by the time he arrived the next day, then it would be all good. She was relying on that to be true, so she was getting her essay printed off.
When she stepped into the nigh empty room though, she paused. There was less light than she expected, than there normally was. When she made her way to the light switch, she found it did nothing. The lights didn't come on.
"Dammit... I hope the computers still have power." she muttered before making her way to one of hte computers. As she did so, she tripped over something on the floor and landed hard. When she got to her feet and checked what she'd tripped on, she found a shoe.
Connected to a foot.
Or at least... the boney remains of a foot.
She dug her phone out of her pocket, her movements frantic, and turned on the flash of it, using it as a torch. As she saw what was there, she screamed.
---
She knocked on the door before poking her head in when she was beckoned to enter.
"The two you summoned are here." She stated simply.
"Would you like them to come in now, or do you need to finish what you are working on first?" she asked, knowing that he'd expected them to take a bit longer than they had.
