Ive been a long time user of avatar forum sites, i was on terra since day one (RIP), moved to syndrone when that launch, been on gaia since god know how long. tried them all. But took a break for a while and when i came back to my fave sites, so many people told me about Volta. And it is giving me some major terra and syn vibes. Was wondering if maybe some of the staff from those sites moved to here.
Either way the art is cute and I like everything so far!
Any forums i should check out first? How is the roleplay here?

Yeah, this place is like the Syndrone child that can heal my heart since that loss. I also came from Gaia, this forum really has a lot of potential! Also welcome!

Sadly I don't know much about syn or Terra, I may have started my avatar site exploration after their time:( so I don't know how they compare to here.
The roleplays I've been in have been nice and relaxing. :) You just have to find a group or a partner and jump in. ^^

Welcome to the site! With the avatar communities available these days, I think Voltra really does stand head and shoulders above the rest. The only of those sites you mentioned that I recognized was Gaia, which has gone seriously downhill imho.
We’re all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?

yeah I started looking for a new place in 2009 when o realized that Gaia was heading down a dark path ^^;; discovered tons of other sites and was fairly active on all of them. Then eventually made it here a couple months after It opened. :) Love it here. Im glad everyone here can agree that gaia is a mess now
