@another movie addict: ah yeah, i totally know that feel. normally after an hour or two of trying i think it's better to just get up and do something else rather than just lie in bed the whole time, and then try again later. alternatively, i have gone through days where i didn't sleep -- i don't recommend doing it two days in a row though :v
@Peony: My record is three days in a row, and that is the worst feeling in the world. Wouldn't wish that on anyone. Normally my medication does fine putting me to sleep. But for some reason I just can't sleep tonight. I was just laying in my bed getting more and more uncomfortable.
@another movie addict: yikes. Normally when I have days that I can't sleep (and it happens quite often, unfortunately), I really end up just getting up and doing something. Eating, maybe, or playing on my 3DS for a bit. It sounds counterintuitive, and normally it doesn't really work, but I sometimes find it better than being frustrated in trying to sleep.Other times I feel like I may have passed out somewhere in between that time I was trying to sleep haha. I haven't tried taking meds for it yet since it doesn't usually happen consistently.
My friend recently barely slept for three weeks, though. That one really got me concerned, but she's getting some kind of positive reinforcement by getting perfects in our objective quizzes. :/

@Peony: The medication is for something else, but it also happens to help me sleep. Normally I just lay there until I finally pass out, but that's not seeming to help tonight. So I got up and now I'm on my computer not sure what I want to do.

@Peony: Deadpool's butt is amazing though, man I love that movie. I feel like on of those people asking for advice and shooting everything like an ass. My reading lamp broke and I don't want to have to get up from my chair or bed when I'm finally feeling sleepy to turn my big light off. I lay when I read.
