All right, so some backstory.
There's this art shop here in my city that I frikken adore. It's where I go whenever I need to restock my prismacolours, or if I need some brushes, paper, paints.... anything art based, it's where I go.
There's Also a Michael's in my city, but it's more expensive. I DO use Michael's for their sketchbook selections though, as they have a wider selection than this little shop I'm talking about
Now, I went into this little art store to pick up some things a couple weeks ago. Saw they were advertising part time work.
I was a little giddy about it. This is a place I've wanted to apply for years.
So I went home, updated my resume and threw together a cover letter. Had a couple people read it over, and after all was said and done, I got them printed off and dropped them off.
Now, I handed them in two weeks ago today.
I called them today to reiterate I was still very interested in the position, AND to update my phone number. (Actually, I was primarily looking to update my number to be honest). I recently changed my number and my old one was on the resume, of course.
I called at about 1pm this afternoon.
....
And got a call back like 2 hours later to set up an interview time.
Wewt!
So I gotta head into this little awesome art shop on Wed for an interview. ~<3
