My wisdom teeth are really hurting my jaw today
that i can barely eat. :vanora_cry:

But the upside, i might be getting these puppies out
very soon once we are approved for insurance again.

I will be SO glad when they are out.

Ooooh. I heard that gets really painful. I got mine out before they started hurting so the only pain I felt was the healing process ; n ;

Hope you get them out soon - how many wisdom teeth do you have? o:

@Ixora: all four. I never had one surgery since my sister needed them
and then we got kicked off of our insurance/haven't been on it in a year
and i did not want to make my grandmother pay for it. so I kinda just dealt with the pain up until now.

@Ixora: Nah i'm not taking any painkillers.
I just don't like taking them.
only one of my teeth have turned on it's side which is normal
for wisdom teeth. I just hope the reason i am in so much pain today
is NOT because the other one is turning. :vanora_cry:

The bottom ones though haven't bothered me as I can barely see them.

Yeah I will be glad when they are gone and out.
We're going to be trying to get our insurance back on april 8th.
and i have to get exams and everything. so hope they get out ASAP.

@MoodyBats: ah yeah - all of my wisdom teeth grew sideways which is why i had them all out immediately.

On the bright side, not all of them hurt at the same time?

That's not too far now! You caaan maaake it :D

@Ixora: my sister was super lucky and NONE of hers did that.
when my did i was so mad lmao. :vanora_angry:

That is true. Past 2 days the upper ones the gums near it have been
a little tender. So i am super happy that not all hurt all at once.
I would not be able to handle that at all.

Yup! Now I am just counting down the days.
I probably will need to wait a few days after that to see if we get approved.
But I am betting sometime in april to beginning of may I will get them removed.
I want to get them removed all at once but my dad and sis do not recommend that. :vanora_xd:

@MoodyBats: your wisdom teeth are out to get you lmao XD

So about a month more that they'll be with you.
Oh I definitely don't recommend getting them all out at the same time! It's gonna be really hard to chew if you do and you have to clean the stitches up after eating to make sure food isn't stuck there.

I had mine removed one side at a time so I still had the other side to chew with!

@Ixora: for real.
I don't trust any of them. :vanora_neutral:

Yeah that is what my dad and sis said.
Though my sister didn't get stitches as stitches i think depend on the roots of the teeth.
But we'll see.

Yeah my sis had her's like that. which is smart.
I am just impatient haha. But definitely left side is going first.

@MoodyBats: that's a wise choice

Oooh. Cause my wisdom teeth never came out so they had to cut through my gums to get them out so that's probably why I got stitches. The stitches are alright tho - not a bother and I barely felt them.

Left side hurting more huh.

@Ixora: yup but my sister knows how to take care of me.
she says she plans to feed me many times lol

Ah. most of mine are through the gum. some of the bottom ones are
but barely lol. but the top ones definitely are.

Not so much it hurting more, but the left one is already on it's side
so i kinda want that one out more first before it decides to go against me even more

@MoodyBats: ice cream is great for like the first few days after having them out

Oooh. Sounds like it won't be too rough getting them out - hopefully

That's true XD You can go for the other side as soon as it heals up anyway which should be less than a month.

today was so hot. perfect weather for ice cream and yummy smoothies.

I'm hoping so.

So true! and i do heal pretty fast.

@MoodyBats: idk if you can have smoothies tho. Straws qre a big no no if you have stitches
But ice cream is a go!

Just think... in about 2 months you'll be wisdom teeth free! :D

@Ixora: You can as long as you don't use a straw.
My sister made smoothies last time for her surgery.

Yesss! No more wisdom teeth!
then i plan to get this invisalign thing because i have an overbite causing me
more problems. :vanora_sweat:

@Ixora: Lol I drink everything with a straw.
except water. water bottle goes in my water bottle

Invisalign can pretty much fix everything. underbite, overbite, you name it.
pricy but i needz it because my overbite just causes health problems such as
not enough oxygen to my brain which makes me tired all the time. and inflamed gums.

2019 is the year i am gonna fix a lot of things with my health.

@moodybats: Fun fact, I had wisdom teeth on both sides (lower jaw), and I got them out in the same surgery. Was an interesting experience, but alas my subconscious has too much control and there were no silly happy-meds-prompted occurrences. Doctor was like, yeah, just take three advils every four hours and get some sleep, you'll be fine, oh, remember to keep ice on it for the better part of a day. Worked out fine.

@Espy: Oh wow. I would probably not survive XD
Though i don't think i'll take those giant pain meds they give you.
Cause hereditary my whole family is very sensitive to pills. even over the counter stuff sometimes.

Though i am someone who is Like "I DON'T NEED PAIN MEDS"
and then i suffer for it later lol.

@moodybats: Hm... The problem w not taking pain meds after wisdom teeth surgery (or any other surgery, really), isn't just being in pain, but also the fact that your brain registers the pain now, and everything starts getting inflamed. That multiplies your needed recovery time by... a lot. Only reason I was able to eat solid food within a day of my surgery was constant ice, and a *lot* of pain meds. The latter's not super good for me bc I have heart issues, but I didn't feel like having to deal with any flare-ups and infections.
