There are enough people out there that are familiar with tabletop games like dungeons and dragons and Pokemon tabletop United that I believe this could be a very useful thread.

You want to have a tabletop based roleplay story, but all that rolling in the thread would mean you need to wait a very long time to even get all of the rolls needed for just one second of in game time.

So i came up with this idea when I saw the under current released!

Examples.

Big bad half ogre player is fighting a dragon. He wants to swing his sword at the dragon. But with some cool flare. So he spots a rope hanging from a chandelier to swing on.

First he rolls a Dex check

Oh look that ogre has totally failed his Dex check and misses grabbing/swinging on the rope with only one hand. So that can be taken to the roleplay to make a really hilarious post.

His best friend, a half elf warrior chuckles and goes charging in with a longsword and with elven grace tries to land a hit on the dragon to distract him from the half orc's failure.

Unfortunately his foot skids on some smooth cobblestone and his blow weakly glances off the dragon's scales. "So much for elven grace!" yells the half orc. "I am only HALF elven and you know it!!" the half elf yells back.

I made a thread to he used for dice rolling when you need dice rolled for tabletop based games. For the dm and the players. :D

I'd say the dragon has a turn :p gonna try to squish the half ogre that fell on the floor and dropped it's sword with the big scaly dragon tail.

The half elf raises an eyebrow in surprise and grins. "For a big guy you sure can move when your life depends on it." He sees an opening to attack the tail of the dragon as it swings past him and takes it, swinging his longsword with all his strength.

I think thats a decent roll for a nick at the dragon's tail, causing a long, thin scratch.

As the dragon howls in rage at it's tail being scratched. The half ogre grabs his sword off the ground and plunges it upwards as the flailing tail passes over head.
Gonna actually roll a dex check for all of that xD and a second d20 for the hit check.

And I think off the top of my head a sword is a d8 for damage. Just in case. :)

Wooooo crit hit for a massive 14 damage!! That 20!!! And the 15 I'm sure was high enough to hit the tail. Seems a fair bet.

Think with that nat 20 the half ogre accidentally chopped off the tail though xD

Yeah I'm going to say as the tail flailed over head and swung past the half ogrw, the movement of the tail and the upthrust sword severed the tail right off.
