i go to a lot of smaller concerts tho i don't go to a lot of the big name concerts
maybe only 1 or 2 of those a year... like for me it was panic at the disco last year n this year it will probably b joji for big name concerts... most of the time i'm goin to punk showz

I try to go to concerts once every few months. The recent one I went to was The Story So Far & Basement. Didn't listen to them toooo much so couldn't really get into it. Not as nostalgic as I intended and everyone was drinking 'cause it was an 18+ show. I stepped on sooo many plastic cups and there was a lot of crowd surfing.. sadly that was the most interesting part - If I am not into the bands too much, they're not as fun for me anymore :(
They can be kinda cheap though - out of the way into the city which can make for a great night at least.. just waiting for my favs to come back!
I've only ever been to two. Both metal concerts -- first one was an Experience. I mean, they both were, but wow @___@

I only go to concerts of bands I like. So the amount I go to is differnt is year. This year will be 2-3 concerts. I do almost go to a festival each year.
I go all the time, narcolepsy and work schedule permitting. I've got my husband and a few friends in various local bands so I go to them the most, but when the gods of metal grace my home-base with their presence, I make it a point to attend.

Place I'm currently at, I don't feel particular safe going to concerts, because I haven't made any friends here which means I'd have to go by myself, but this area is also pretty conservative and full of military types (used to be home to a large Air Force base), and that makes me... uncomfy.
