I enjoyed the show, I never had read the book. How close was the show to the book?
[ They took a few quotes, and that's more or less about it. Well an Theo's sexuality, lol she wasn't straight in the 1959 novel either. The character Shirley is named for the book's author Shirley Jackson. It's a good show though, and it's a good book. ]
I might have to check out the book then. I enjoy reading and if it's a good book then it's probably worth a read.

[ I also recommend the 1963 film The Haunting which is based on the book, and follows it fairly close. That's how I found the book, and I like to read the books films are based on. ]

That's a funny coincidence hahaha. I wrote a note to look into it. Hopefully it's on like Netflix, hulu, or amazon prime or at least cheap on Amazon.

@vengeance: I woke up about an hour ago, I just need the coffee to kick in. My husband is napping though. He woke up at like 4am to go to work.
