Was doing the dishes and there's a big ole butcher knife in there that was used to chop up pizza etc yesterday, and GASHED MY FINGER. It's a tad deeper than a paper cut but jeez it took forever to stop bleeding so I could bandage it etc. D: Also sterilized it, which was kinda a mistake too cause it made it bleed AGAIN LOL so twice had to wait for it to stop bleeding. Thank Eff I bought a first aid kit and band aids last week I swear idk what I woulda done had i not had a band-aid.

I’m not allowed near many of the sharp stabbies (knives) because I’m prone to accidents.. I don’t even clean the blender we have because it’s so sharp. :x

I've cut myself twice with knives. Cutting knife and bread knife. Both hurt like hell. But I'm glad you're okay!

Ooh ouch, sorry to hear it bleed more than once. that must have been a pain, but it is great to hear that you had a first aid and bandaids.
@Kozi: you have to be careful with those, I know the tin foil boxes with the jagged part always leaches out at my hands. it hurts worse than papercuts I'll agree that much.
@Unicorn: I thought cardboard cuts were bad. But then I worked at Target, and accidentally shoved my hand full-force into a box of broken Christmas mugs, and quickly discovered that ceramic cuts are much....MUCH worse. Ugh. That was a mess.

So, I have my pointer finger on my left hand, right? Well it's so scarred from getting cut, repeatedly, in the same place while chopping shit up for cooking! So, now I have this little groove from nail to nearly center.
I like to say it's its' own spice at this point. I feel your pain all too well.

@Harker: I saw this thread yesterday and laughed because, yeah that happens when you don't pay attention where the big knife is during dishes.
