He grinned, leading her through the city a bit, telling her stories that he knew and looking for a place they could get a bite to eat.

She smiled as she walked with him listening happily, making sure to stay close..no more wandering..that was scary..

He opened a door for her into a diner, smiling gently. “This place has been pretty good in the past.”

She smiled softly as she walked in, "Thank you.." She looked around curiously, "It smells amazing in here.." she had been really hungry she had skipped breakfast.

“It’s a pizza and burger joint.” He said softly, looking at the cheese pizza options. “Been around for a very long time.”

"Oooh pizza? Cheese pizza sounds amazing right now.." She said softly looking at the options curiously.

“Let’s split a pizza then.” He said cheerfully, moving to place an order for one.

She smiled brightly following him, "Sounds great." She looked around curiously as he ordered it before moving to a table with him happily.

As soon as they found a table, he moved to the other side to sit and wait for their food. “What would you like to see next?”

He blinked a few times and smiled gently, starting to tell her stories of his past adventures with companions. All the best stories were with his companions. He had been alone for a while before Trin, and was very glad to be traveling with someone again. His TARDIS was right, he shouldn’t be alone.. but when he thought of all the danger he put them in.. it was hard to want to find someone.

Once their pizza arrived he stopped with the stories, smiling gently. “Your turn. Tell me about yourself.” He said softly.

"Oh I'm no where near as interesting.." She said shyly as she got a slice of pizza. "I worked at a fish and chips shop for about 3 years, soon as I was able to move out of the house and get away from my home.." she admitted quietly.

He tilted his head gently but smiled, “I think that’s interesting. Which one?.. Wait, was it the one next to the grocery store? I love that place..”
