@Tuijp:
oh! that reminds me.
I had a very, very similar experience with beetles when i was a child.
I used to play on this school playground from time to time if my grampa took me that way.
it wasn't my school. one weekend, the school hosted a movie for all the kids in the neighbourhood. I went to check it out.
they were showing the Mummy. i happened to walk in on the scene where a dude gets wreckt by a scarab or something, and from then on i was terrified that anything beetle-like would crawl up under my shoe and eat my brain.
@nut:
relatable.
I'm also still afraid of the dark loool.
i have to sleep with some kind of light on. i also can't stand silence at night. my anxiety shoots thru the roof.
@DragonicKittens:
i'm fickle when it comes to my avis. i'm constantly changing it.
@Queen of Trash:
there was one time, i used to live in a town and every summer we'd get absurd amounts of caterpillars. in fact, i think most places do.
i dunno if you'r familiar with those black fuzzy guys. but anyway, when it came time for them all to be moths, the sheer number of them was horror movie level. i mean, it didn't bother me since i am absolutely fascinated by moths, but anyone with a fear of bugs would have a heart attack seeing this.
I worked late and often had to walk home, and there were a couple of nights where, the moment you opened the door, it looked like an all out snow storm anywhere there was a light source. just a ginormous ball of moth fluttering about.
