“I haven’t yet.” He said gently, ordering food and paying for all three of them. “They fired her.” He said softly, watching them work on their food.

“So they cut their best employee.” He said quietly. He had been here as another face.. he remembered seeing her.

“Agreed.” He grinned a bit, taking the food. “Let’s find a table?”

He let her sit down first before sitting down with Jack on the other side. “So how have things been?”

“That’s good that the rift is being calm.” He said softly, glancing over as he saw the owners, thinking.

“You know the TARDIS number if you need our help.” He said with a smile. “But you usually seem to have it under control.”

He nodded, keeping his eyes on the owner as they continued to check on things. He did not want to embarrass his companion, but he did want to have words with them.

“Yeah.” He said with a nod, getting up and moving over to them.

“Been a while, Tom.” He said cheerfully, hands in his pockets.

“I’d be a little better if I knew why you had to fire your best employee.” He said gently, frowning. “Although I suppose I have to thank you for that anyway, because she’s much happier now..”
