@totalanimefan: yeaa the Pikachu movie was great. We saw Dark Phoenix and Secret Life of Pets 2 today as well. They were both pretty good too

I liked the original anime just fine...it was pretty close to the manga to me but it's been awhile since I've watched it.

I never finished reading the manga series...I got most of it but when we moved, we moved to a small town so there's no bookstore and I'd rather not read it online xD And yea...it didn't really get in depth with the characters in the original anime but I feel like most animes are like that when they're only allowed a certain number of episodes.
