Yeah Stardew Valley is really nice but i never seem to finish my 2nd year before i quit. FEZ is just amazing, i have 100% it once but not on steam.
As for Terraria it becomes easier if you have been on the wiki a lot and do the right preparations, building boss arenas, hellevators, finding all the npc and building enough of npc rooms for them, getting the right prefix for your weapon, i am looking forward to the last journey update or whatever it was called that is gonna be the last official content.
And play it in a windowed mode, even if the game doesnt have it there is always a way to do it manually.

Quake in windowed mode in dosbox is super small. You hardly see anything. And if you then hit full screen it get's blown up so much you still don't see anything.

See this screenshot of dosbox? That's the size Quake runs in. That is way to small. So I am glad people made a HD version. There is not a single other old shooter game (original graphics) that looks bad in full screen.

That size isnt too bad for me tho, played several games that is like that in size and if you think about handheld consoles or mobile phones that isn't small at all.

Yeh and see the only games I play on mobile are puzzel and swap games. I don't play handheld consoles. I have 2 old sega, 2 mini nintendo's and a Xbox360.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Computer, Nintend DS, Gameboy Color and probably some other. Consoles are honestly annoying since a generation isnt long enough to have enough favorite games to justify it.

SDV? I am not good with abbreviations

@SirLionelNigelConrad: Yeah i have played it multiplayer for a bit but i like to multiplay in games more focused on coop gameplay when i play with others.

I agree about consoles not having a long enough generations. But they are only out there to make as much money. Same goes for mobile phones.

The mobile game industry is abusive in the way they make money, i mean a medium scale boost can cost more than a full game! It's stupid. Consoles at least have proper games. I mean there are some games that are abusive with their transactions and the games as a service industry is just bullshit.

But why isn't there 17 people in here then?
Report

Donator Posted 6 years ago ( 2019/06/23 14:43:03 )

Yeh the later it get's the more people that are one.

Game companies say that without the micro transaction they would have to ask $80 for a game if they want to make some money. Console/pc games it is what they talk about. For mobile games those transactions are they way they make the most money.

Lot's of people are lurkers.

@vengeance: I have a total of 33 km cycling and 7 km walking.
And now I’m hungry.

They do ask for 80$ for games and that is much better than microtransactions that often ask 15$ for a single skin or 30$ for a progress boost.
Also it was a rethorical question.

Donator Posted 6 years ago ( 2019/06/23 15:05:18 )

Most people will not pay $80 for a game and rather pirate it that way. Even $40 is to much for a lot of people already. That's why gamekey websites are populair because they sell games for less. And steam sales.

@Tuijp: Then go an eat something. I only walked 1.7km today.

Bundles are nice, i subscribe to humble monthly myself and a gamer don't mind paying 80$ for a triple A game and i mean if you arent a gamer indie developer ones are usually around 12$ even without sales and that is not much more than a meal at McDonalds right?

Most of the games I have in my steam libary are indie games. But 99% is also bought during a steam sale. I am now waiting for the next sale to start on steam tuesday. The most expensive games on steam aren't even triple a games.

Sandwiches are always good.

@Monorea: I made the lemonade this morning and left it in the fridge.
The sandwiches were with brie.
