"Oh, fair enough." he replied.

"And I'm all right." he said. "Just got back from a bit of a tough assignment." he told her.

"Had to deal with a feral Acid-Claw Basilisk that some rich moron thought would be a good idea to have as a pet." he commented.

"Damn thing actually managed to slash my chest, too." he told her.

And that was an odd thing to say. When an Acid-Claw Basilisk scratched someone, its venom seeped in and killed them within a matter of seconds... no exceptions.

"...." the man was silent for a moment, before chuckling lightly.

"Ah, sorry." he apologized. "I just deduced you were new, and you then essentially said you're new, but temporary here." he said further.

"I'm alive because my body is too stubborn to die." he told her. "Which is to say, no matter the damage I take, it's reversed. And pretty quickly too, depending on the severity of it." he continued.

"I'm agent Tyson King." he then introduced himself.

"I'm a Regenerator."

".....yeah, I know..." Ty responded, scratching the back of his head.

"I'm... too stubborn to do something like that..." he then said quietly. "For... various reasons." he muttered.

"And... Syraene Encrae?" he asked.

"That last name is familiar." he told her.

"....ah, I assume you are related to Ashley Encrae?" he then asked her.

Tyson nodded.

"I've had dealings with her in the past." he said.

"We here at the Unit often collaborate and cooperate with guilds, and Candentus Lux is one of the ones we frequently deal with." he explained.

"She and I have worked together on a couple of assignments in the past." he told her further.

"Good girl. Headstrong and stubborn, but a good girl."

Tyson smiled.

"Well, glad I could help with that." he said.

"Yes, she seems to be doing QUITE well." he said further.

He then sighed quietly, and looked around.

"Pretty dead in here." he said offhandedly, before looking back at Syraene.

"So why did Sharp call upon your services?" he asked.

"......" Tyson was silent as he saw the hood.

"....hm." he mumbled.

"That DOES look familiar..." he said.

"Hmmm." he then muttered further, thinking about it, and searching his brain for an answer.

"...oh!" he exclaimed, snapping his fingers.

"I can't remember the actual name of the organization, but aren't they the guardians of dreams?" he asked.

"......eh?" Ty muttered.

"All right... good to know, I suppose." he said.

"Wasn't... really thinking of sleeping, anyway..." he then admitted.

"I just feel... really energized and such." he shrugged.

"Like I could go on for days."

"....I see." Tyson responded.

"Well... that... makes sense, I suppose." he said.

"Then I really hope it DOES get fixed." he told her.

"...sadly, I can't really help with that, I would imagine." he then lamented with a sigh.

"I can do a lot, I've been through a lot, but I would imagine that this is well beyond my scope of expertise."

"Well, that's not a good sign." Tyson sighed.

"Anyway, sorry for disturbing you." he then apologized.

"I always aim to know everyone that works here, or is affiliated with this place." he told her. "...as far as working here internally, that is." he then added.

"Believe it or not, it's one of the ways I keep myself sane."

Tyson nodded in response.

"I'll remember that." he said.

"It was nice meeting you, as well." he told her.

"I'm sure we'll see each other while you stay here." he then went on.

"But I certainly hope that you do not have to be here for long." he added.

"I think it'd be better for everyone if this was ended ASAP."
