I noticed something was wrong with my left eye when I woke up. It hurt a bit and my vision was a bit blurred. So I took a look in the mirror in my bedroom and o joy a swollen left eyelid.
@vengeance: What was the cause for the swollen eyelid? Infection, insect bite, allergies or just irritation?
@Monorea: I have no idea. Everything was fine when I went to bed. But then when I woke up it was swollen.
@vengeance: Has the swelling subsides since then? I sometimes wake up with pulled muscles since i toss and turn but it's not often i have problems with my eyes besides them being a bit dry in the mornings.
Perhaps have a clean eye bath to clear out any nasties or bugs. I hope you feel better soon! :0

I had this happen once in relation to an innocent bit of acne. My entire face got infected and I was on antibiotics for two weeks, with a full blown fever. Be safe and get it checked out?

It was probably an insect bite. They're all around us. One time I woke up with a swollen eyelid too and the first thing I thought was "A damn spider got me while I was sleeping." XD
