Yeh I keep on getting the error he cannot find the path. Uninstalled and reinstalled didn't do anything. Checked my hardware and nothings wrong. Seems the only thing left is a clean windows install :( I really don't want to go through that.

I wouldnt think you would lose your save progress on games! I think thats stored inside the steam's cloud? that or in local files which aren't deleted, but it shouldn't delete your save progress!
