I also got to use one of the crane puppets that they'd use to feed baby cranes that didn't have parents which was cool I have photos but idk where those are.

@Unicorn: omg that's so adorable ;A; I remember going to a wolf sanctuary with my girl scout troop and thinking "ah, larger version of my dog" bc I had an alaskan malamute at the time, but thinking back I'm like "Why did they not say something when all 40lbs of me stuck my damn hand through the fence to pet the wolves were my other scouts really being that disruptive" XD

@Unicorn: lol! a lot of sanctuary animals are interacted with heavily when they can't be released into the wild for whatever reason and they need regular vet visits, so you can't have them attacking everyone they see...but also I probably smelled like A) a puppy and B) a runt puppy, at that xD Snowflake was my cuddle buddy baby girl of fluffz who never made it over 70lbs, the poor baby she was still over 6ft tall when standing on her hinds tho

@Unicorn: Malamutes are actually just Huskies But Bigger lol huskies are your leading sled dogs while malamutes are your heel dogs cause they're a lot bigger and can take the bulk of the driver's weight + whatever they're carrying :D Snowflake was smol at around 60lbs, but if she hadn't been a runt she should have gotten to at least 90lbs if not over 100; like I said, she was over 6ft tall when standing on her back leads, about a head taller than my dad who is 5'11 :3
