In 2018. the city council is going to give up to 500€ per person, who have a minimum income, to follow a course and get equipment for it. I'm thinking of doing a photography course for that money. There is one for 350€ (incl. photoshop elements 15), so I will have 150€ max of the budget left to get a camera

I have a big shiny one but it wasn't nowhere near that expensive. Those prices sounds like camera's for the real pro's out there.

Depending on what type of photo's you wanne make you don't need a camera over $1000.
