i just noticed that there's a small box that says the top ten posters, and one thing i remember from other forums i visited is that they'll also have a tiny box welcoming the newest user! i think that would be an interesting and tiny addition to the boxes below :)

I was thinking more of a RL birthday than the day people joined because that would definitely be too many people in one go xD alternatively maybe it can only show one birthday user at a time, and then when people refresh it shows a different name? And then there can be a small link underneath it that says "View All Birthdays Today" -- and it can even be like Facebook where it shows upcoming birthdays :0

i was thinking about the one person per refresh thing because of space reasons, since when this site grows there can be many people taking up the list, and it would extend the box rather badly. so it's kind of like a guarantee that this doesn't change the box layout, all they need to do is add another link to show all birthdays if they want to see everyone in one go c:
