"......it's the 'yet' that worries me." Ryker mumbled quietly.

Aly just looked at him, before looking back at Eke.

Ryker then sighed, and shook his head.

"Hey." he said to eat.

"When you get outta here, what do you want to eat?" he asked.

"Anything. You name it."

"A couple of days." Aly replied.

"You were soaked and cold, and apparently they almost lost you earlier." she said, her lip quivering slightly.

"They want to make sure you're properly stable before they let you go." she added.

"They also wanted to get a head doctor in here to make sure you weren't suicidal or anything, given the jumping off the roof stunt." Ryker then chimed in.

"Stopped THAT on the quick-fast." he muttered.

"Made sure they knew that would end in badness."

"I love you too, Eke." Aly replied as Eke fell asleep.

"...Ryker, I'm worried." she then admitted to Ryker.

"I know." Ryker replied. "I am, too." he said.

"What can we do?" Aly asked.

"No damn idea." Ryker admitted.

"If we could see what the hell these dreams were like, then maybe we'd get some kind of clue or hint, but I'm not sure that's even possible." he went on.

"So we just need to take this as it comes." he sighed.

Aly and Ryker looked at each other for a moment, before looking at Eke.

"Oh?" Ryker asked.

"I see." Aly mumbled.

"I think I know why, but might I ask?" Ryker then asked further.

"Why is it time to get a car?"

"....week?" Aly asked.

"Week." Ryker said.

"Hoo boy." he muttered.

"You've REALLY been out of it, haven't you?" he asked.

"What's the last thing you truly remember?" Aly asked Eke.

"Ah, right." Ryker said.

"Look, Eke, you've been sleeping on and off all this time." he told him.

"And a walk?" he asked.

"Where? For how long?" he asked further.

"Seriously, you're not doing so well. Are you SURE that's a wise idea?"

"............" both Aly and Ryker were silent, and looked at each other again.

"I'm worried." Aly said.

"I'm concerned, too." Ryker admitted.

"...hm." he then mumbled.

"I wonder if we should follow..." he said.

"I trust Eke, but... can we trust what's been happening?"

The sky above him was darkening, though it didn't look like it was ready to rain.

It had been blue and clear, but clouds were starting to roll in fast. They didn't look like rain clouds, but they WERE obscuring the sun, so much so it looked like it was starting to get dark early.

Eke swore he heard thunder in the distance, but every time he actively listened, all was quiet.

All he could hear was the skittering and scampering of small forest creatures in the forest he sat at the edge of.

When he got back, he heard Aly's voice.

"Hi, Eke." she greeted him.

"I was thinking of making some hot chocolate." she told him.

"Do you want some?" she asked.

"Oh, and s'mores as well." she added with a smile.

"You know, just some sweet things."

"......." Aly was silent, before looking away.

"...I can tell you don't want any." she said.

"I can tell you're not happy right now." she went on.

"...I can tell that you don't want to talk about it..." she then said, her voice getting quieter.

"I have your medication made for the next week." she suddenly said, her tone shifting to one more like a home caregiver.
