I just watched “Can You Ever Forgive Me” the other night. It was sad with a touch of humor, which I like, but maybe not for everyone. Melissa McCarthy was really great — definitely the best I’ve seen her.

Saw "It: Chapter 2" yesterday. Was pretty good. I may have liked it even more than the first one, which I recently fell in love with after rewatching it.

watched that new version of "Child's Play". I... don't know how to feel. On the one hand, I have several very large complaints. On the other hand, I can't pretend I didn't enjoy it.

I finally watched Bright on Netflix last night. It was really cool! I felt like there was a lot stuffed into the movie though, and I think it could really benefit from a series. Or, even a book.

Apparently the movie didn't do well with critics. Which, I guess I get only in the sense that the movie was a little convoluted and not enough was explained. BUT, a really cool set up for a world. I'd like to know a whole lot more.

My wife recently discovered there is a musical version of "The Count of Monte Cristo" and has been talking about it nonstop. I don't know where she watched or listened to it. lol Anyway, she wanted to watch the movie so bad, and I love it and hadn't seen it in years, so I bought a copy and we watched it together. So good!

The last movie we saw in theaters was Fathom Events' replay of INXS's Wembley Stadium concert from the early 90s. It was just amazing. I loved that band so much.

The last movie I watched was Yell for the Blue Sky. I didn't really expect much from it but I was surprised in how invested I was in seeing the characters achieve their goals.
