I've always liked drawing people/characters, ever since I was a kid. more recently I've liked drawing flowers, and I've been shoe-horning them into like.... everything I draw ADLFKFJ

Nah i didn't participate in it this year. I was going to but things didn't pan out well.
I have an old WIP from mermay. But i didn't really follow a prompt for her. I just had a vague idea.
Yeah i always want to do a draw this in your style but i always miss the deadline so then I never do.
I have to pick two new poses since 2 of them didn't really play out well.
And tomorrow i have to spend the day coloring it so I can get it uploaded by the 1st.

@Moodybats: oh man I think I'm like the opposite, I get a creative splurge and then design everything at once over a few days, and then I go months with absolutely no ideas ADLFKJ
at some point I wrote actual chapter stories for my old OCs but those are really cringe now HAHA writing takes a lot of planning and careful development, I think it's really difficult to do
oh I didn't realize people did them on deadlines. I think it's fine to do it at your own pace too though

I wrote like a 90 page story of two of my Oc's a few years ago.
But i have yet to touch it again. I tried to rewrite it about 2 years ago. But i had no real idea
of where I wanted to go so i never touched that again lol.
I'm putting it on a deadline so I can stay ahead of the schedule otherwise
I will get lazy and not bother with inktober. I purposely put it on a deadline so that I know
what I need to get done.
Considering this piece has 4 characters I have to make sure each pose
kinda goes with the other ones. So it's a bit tricky.

but my own projects just take a while lol.
haha yeah. I do want to write about my alien OC though i always come up with fun ideas
in my head with her. She seems to be the one character that will actually have an actual story.
I still need to complete faces and hands and then I can color. It probably will end up just being flat colors which I didn't want to do.
But it's fine. yeah this piece is quite huge. I'm not sure if i'll have to split it to post it on instagram since instagram
fails at wide posts lol. But the sketch looks great to me. Though my theme is a bit...all over the place.
But oh well.
