I loooooooove NYC! I visit my friend there every other month. ^^ But I would never live in the city because rent is ridiculously high (my friend shares a small apartment with two other people, and it’s still double what I would pay for a bigger and newer apartment in my area).
If you truly really want to live there no matter what, save up that money and go live your dream. :) New Yorkers have this pride that people in other cities are lacking, and it makes me want to experience the non-tourist side of it.

idk i'm hoping my other friend who loves nyc will move with me so we can split something
otherwise, i may try through grad school and/or saving up hellas first
maybe write a book and see if i can make bank on it
