on our way to vanlife ! watching and making sure he doesnt hurt himself. today we are working on the basic platform in our new 2020 ford connect.

we are three months shy of living in our van full-time. cutting our rent in half, getting solar, the van is already a wifi hotspot, and we already live a minimalistic lifestyle but stressing out on california prices >n <
this is a lifestyle choice, a choice a lot of have made - lots of negatives but also positives if you plan or are very familiar with your area OR if you are traveling. i dont recommend it for everyone.

i love naming my vehicles but having a difficult time naming this new baby. its a shinny gray - was thinking of a metal-like pokemon. we plan to put the name across the front cause the hubby wants to deck it out a tad more (car dudes xD)

i am so excited! we are so excited! :3

@Dimples: This is quite the adventure you two are starting! You're obviously excited about it... which is good. I, for one, couldn't do something like this. Maybe before the family but certainly not now. But if you can make it work, and it helps you accomplish your longer-term goals, then go for it! :)

thank yous! this is so true. im very anxious but we got this! we just got limo tint done yesterday. so much harder to see inside. we finished!

gahh, we are so excited. we will be able to live in it off grid for a few days at a time. hubby works outside and able put up solar. the van has a hotspot, only need it for my tablet.

he actually didnt get the foldable bed. thought he did but he wants to build the couch to bed-frame already. we found a foam order company thatll cut them to the size we need. too cool
