So we put Harlow and Pandora in with Cheerio the other night and Cheerio has been treating them like they are her babies. She's always on top of them, she moves them around by their scruff, and she gives the "I'm too old for this shit" look when they want to play too rough. They are quite smaller than she is, less than half her size so I think she really sees them as her babies.
You can see Cheerio in this picture and she's on top of the two babies, you can kind of see a rat butt on the left.

It is October, time to get spooky.

The little babies love it to. When we introduced them in the bathtub. That's where we do intros, it's a neutral space. They kept going underneath her, showing that they were accepting her as the alpha rat. They were like "we are babies, you are our new mommy."
Cheerio is about 2 years old and these babies are about 2 months.
