@Wildfire: Oh, it was! I even asked him if he'd be willing to go to next year's comic con with me, since I'm too shy to go by myself. xD @Wildfire: Long as it's Saturday and Sunday, he can go. He works on Fridays. @Wildfire: Oh lord, the shipping never ends! xD Everybody ships me with him. @Wildfire: Oh, I'm not saying he's a bad guy or anything. There just isn't attraction there or anything. We're just really good friends. So good, that his ex thought we were having an affair.
@LordLucre: LOL! There is nothing wrong with having friends! It actually boggles my mind how everyone seems to think "oh, they can't be just friends - they have to be in a relationship"...
@Wildfire: He told her there was nothing going on, but she kept insisting. @Wildfire: She is. Her dad cheated on her mom, so she just came to expect the same from him.
@LordLucre: Yeah... it's tough to bounce back from something like that. it's unfortunate.

@LordLucre: At the end of the day, you choose your reactions - do you look at "unfortunate event" as a learning opportunity and grow from it or as an excuse to whine and play victim. It's entirely your choice how you choose to look at things
@Wildfire: Hoo boy, did I learn a lot from that relationship. Lots of red flags looking back.
