YES! It's amazing how much more Lupin has come out! I don't know
if you're aware of this, but the franchise is 52 years old this year!!
There's 5 "Parts", three of which had made some sort of appearance
on Adult Swim in America. Cagliostro came out in 1979. The manga
had its debut in 1967, the first anime (green jacket) came out in 1971.
Part II (red jacket) came out in 1977. Part III (pink jacket) in 1984.
Part IV came out in 2015 and Part 5 came out in 2018. Parts II, IV and
5 all aired at some point on Adult Swim/Toonami. (Part 5 is currently
finishing up on Toonami now!)
Today, Toonami announced that the OVA "Is Lupin Still Burning...?" will
air on December 14th on Toonami! "Goodbye Partner," a special, recently
released digitally on Amazon, as well as "Goemon's Blood Spray" and
"Fujiko's Lie" just released as well. And a 3DCG film is set to air in Japan
on December 6th. Also another special called "Prison of the Past" is
coming out this year, too, in Japan!
This year has sported more Lupin content than any year has!
