Voltie — She/Her Posted 5 years ago ( 2019/11/24 12:21:07 )

I wanna find more spooky movies to watch, so let's hear your top 5 scariest films you've seen!

Mine are ( in no specific order ) :

1- The Ring
2- The Conjuring
3- The Fourth Kind
4- The Grudge
5- Shutter

I'd also like to say that the show on Netflix "Haunting of Hill House" was 10/10 amazing as well!

I love paranormal horror/Asian horror, but as you can see, I also love aliens and such. <3

Ah, i still have to finish the haunting of hill house! thanks for reminding me lol.
speaking of netflix, i highly recommend Veronica if you like spooky paranormal movies!
I also thought Unfriended was pretty fun. The first one anyway, I haven't seen the sequel.

i'm not sure what i'd pick for the spookiest movie i've ever since, since i'm a horror junkie and trying to remember which movies scared me and how gets hard after you've seen way too many to count. but i can definitely tell you about my favorite horror movies ^_^ i have a little bit of eccentric tastes though, so they probably aren't for everyone :p

  • Clive Barker's Hellraiser (stylish, sexy, gory fun. not very scary though in my opinion)
  • RAW (definitely not for the faint of heart)
  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (pretty self-explanatory. specifically the original though, i haven't seen the remake)
  • Creep (i didn't like the sequel as much but the original is amazing)
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street (this was my very first horror movie so it holds a special place in my heart <3)

@misery:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is literally my favorite.
I actually enjoy the second one a lot too! It's fun in an absurd way.

I have such a weakness for cheesy slasher films.
