We're doin' money math stuff in class this week and it's taking me back to high school.
I'm terrible at math, it hurts me wee brain. ;C

Come, let us all talk poop on math and numbers.

What was your strongest subject in school? Lmao.
I did well in English and History. Pretty ok in Science too.

LMFAO. I had the same likes and dislikes as you in school subjects. Love English, History, art, and foreign languages. xD Science was ok if it stayed in the Biology, Earth Science zone... but ughhghhhhh the mathy sciences like physics and chem.

I hate math so much...

@Tsundererra:
True. I took biology in high school when the time came and also the "easiest" math when that time came too.
Which again, was all money related and what not. Might have been useful if I retained any of it.

I feel you. Hieroglyphs I tell you.

@Miss Sandman:
How could I forget art! Also my favorite. Art and English were definitely my top two.
Creative freedom and all that. I always got good marks when it came to doing short stories and stuff for class.

Wrow. Your name suits you.
-nose in the air-

Jk. We all have our thing, lol.
I wouldn't say stupid. Rusty is more like it. I'm sure it'd take a bit to jump start your noggin if you had to go back to it suddenly but you'd be cruising in no time, especially if you were good at it.

@Totalanimefan:
Lmao, awesome.
As someone who wanted to be a writer for a very long time, I've definitely tried to be good at those things. xD

@Miss Sandman:
And the most fun, lol.

My strongest subject in school.. was math
honestly I get more headache from wordy problems. But give me numbers and I was happy.
Back then, at least. It's been almost a decade since I had any sort of math class so I probably suck now

I've always had trouble with math. It's not that I don't understand the concepts, I just end up transposing numbers or thinking something and writing something else. Every time I came to the wrong answer and went back to figure out why, it was always a stupid typo.

I was always better at the arts and literature side of things.

@Jolly:
Somebody else in this thread said something very similar and honestly, yeah. Rustiness happens but I'm sure if you had to do it again like you had to in school you'd probably warm up pretty quick to it lol. After some refreshers. As for me, I am eternally perplexed.

@Priestess of Pie:
Ah, interesting.
For me, it takes a lot longer to figure out how the numbers and equations all fit together.
It's like a complicated puzzle for me and my brain is slow to process things as it is. Math is just like throwing mud in the gears.

@Lithium:
Same though.
I must say, your avi is absolutely splendid. It makes me do the "C:"

There's only one way to find out...

WRITING CONTEST.

Lol. Thank you. I'll probably change it real soon since I'm currently playing around in my inventory.
My avis don't typically last too long cause I'm never satisfied.

@Goblin:
Yeah, it depends on what it is for me but math is definitely not a subject I caught onto very quick.
I recall that when I did get a hang of it in high school I was pretty alright too, but again, I was slow.
That, coupled with crippling social anxiety made it hard to get anywhere because I'd be far too terrified to get the help I needed.

Ah, wonderful. I myself am a Troglodyte. - points to "pronouns" slot-

@eerie:
Oof. I feel you on gym class.
My only goal for those periods was "blend in with background. Be unseen."

@Usagi:
Yeah, that seems to be the case. Majority of the time you're good at one or the other. xD
I'm sure there are people who are good at both, but like I said, majority.

@Priestess of Pie:
Truuu.

Puzzles are all fine an dandy but it depends. Puzzle in a video game? Yes, let me problem solve.
Math problem? Problems in general.

Side note, I don't like jigsaw puzzles. Lmaooo.

@buggaboy:
Saaaame. I'd argue and say aside from drawing, I spent a lot of my high school years writing.

In classes I probably shouldn't have been drawing and writing in, lmao.

Yes. Petition to send the whole concept to space.

@Totalanimefan:
Lmao, I problem I kinda wish I had. Only not. The cause of the problem maybe.
But then I'd never leave my inventory lmaoo.

Rip. I only passed gym because of the system they had where you can collect "gym hours" outside of actual gym class.
So like, if you jog or are on a sports team or you go to the gym and work out. Stuff like that.
My gym teacher found out that my walk to and from school was roughly 30-40 min respectively. He was like, "you know that counts, right?"
So I got by on that. xD

@Totalanimefan:
Orly? That'll be nice. My invo isn't that big and I still sometimes have to wait a while for things to load.

Donator — Troglodyte Posted 5 years ago ( 2019/11/27 03:30:52 )

@eerie:
I would wake up at around 6am and leave at like 7:30am. Technically I'd do fine if I woke up at 7 and went left at like, 8:15am or 8:20am.
I'd get there before the bell rings and I'd still have a bit of time to do things before class, but I dunno, I was weird. I just kind of sat around and drew before class. >>'' Or hang out with friends who also were there a bit early.

@Totalanimefan:
Yeah I could see that. Hopefully they work things out with the least amount of stress possible. O:
