For the past 4 weeks, every Thursday at 8pm the people of the UK stand outside and clap for frontline workers, doctors, carers, nurses, cleaners etc. Do they do this where you are?
That is so sweet.
Here in Kansas we don't do anything special for our essential workers, unfortunately.
My sister is a baker at a donut shop and she and I are working on getting her boss to let us start something where we bag up all the left over donuts when the shop closes and give them to those in need who either can't afford the simple little things that we used to take for granted, or take to certain stores or even hospitals for them to hand out.

@sunny: I'm in the UK and my street is bashing pots together. I was having dinner in my garden and yelled out a 'WHOOOP!' I felt super silly, but it was fun and wholesome hearing everyone. :3

No. People around here are standing in big ass groups, wearing tactical vests with AKs. Threatening to shoot their Governor to reopen businesses so they can have someone else cut their hair. Claiming that their rights are being oppressed, and that it was perfectly acceptable to endanger lives so they can be served.
