@MoodyBats: I understand about art and its therapeutic benefits on a number of levels. It sounds like you've been working hard at your shops!

@LupaPrinceRomulus: Which forum is it in?

@Wildfire: for me I do art shops so I can keep consistency with posting and making art.
As sometimes my personal projects take me weeks or a month.
Commissions take me a short time usually.

I was wondering why it sounded familiar.
I've been following them on twitter for when they do open.

@MoodyBats: Oh, I get it...really I do! I've been known to do the same type of thing, for similar reasons. It sounds like it works well for you, and that's all that really matters! <3

@Wildfire: It feels like it works to an extent.
Some times you have to do studies on your own as well. That's main reason I've decided to close a few for a month. Maybe longer.
As I need time to myself to study anatomy and coloring.

I don't get too much time to myself for art. :vanora_sweat:

@MoodyBats: Oh yes, I understand that too! My art almost always gets pushed down the list of things to do. It's important to prioritize it if it's important to you.

@Wildfire: Art I especially want to shift it into a freelance career if I can.
Especially during the state of the world since money is an issue for my family and want to help
in any way that I can.

So I practice as frequently and often as I can.
Though studies for me are just a little harder since I don't do it as often as I should.

@MoodyBats: Again, prioritize. If learning anatomy is a priority, then you'll have to make a regular point of studying it. But I know it's really easy to let that kind of thing go by the wayside in favor of more pressing, immediate needs! You are aware of the anatomy coloring books, right? And various books of anatomy intended for use and reference by artists?? And, of course, attending life modeling classes if you can - and if not, getting friends or family to pose for you is an option...

@Wildfire: I use reference through pinterest.
But when I only get at most 3 hours it makes it extremely hard to find the time to prioritize.
Which is why I am closing my shops. so I can make the time.
Life drawing classes I don't have the means to go to. Especially now with the state of the world of course.
But I have no license to drive or anyone willing to take me.
And I can't afford to buy anatomy books. Or go to the library. My library never has them and again no one has the time to drive me before the virus happened.

@LupaPrinceRomulus: idk if I'll participate in it before it's released officially.
Idk why. I feel there isn't a whole lot to my art.
Not that, that matters but I'm bad at just..putting myself out there.

@MoodyBats: So you need to get creative about your options... which it sounds like you're doing. So "bravo!!" and "keep doing what you gotta do to get where you want to get!!" ... and above all, just keep practicing (as you can. I know it can be a tough juggling act!!)
