Why does editing a post delete it???

I have 0 issues with editing posts in my art dump thread but just had a post deleted after I clicked edit, made changes and posted.
I tried editing another post on the front page to use instead as I thought maybe I accidentally clicked delete but that also got deleted

wait no I'm dumb, it glitched it out to the bottom of the page for some reason;;;
I don't know why but I think I fixed it??

I don't even know how to edit my posts so I usually delete and start over :/ I can never see an "edit option" it's probably right in front of my eyes XD and just as I finish typing I see it at the top haha I think I expected it to be at the bottom of posts so never gave the top part much thought.. silly me XD

It's right next to the ''quote, mention'' options but on your own post, haha!
I've never had a post glitch out when editing it before so I freaked out thinking it was deleted;;

Hehe yes I noticed straight after XD oh that wouldn't be good cus then you'd have to start all over.. luckily it was only a wee glitch tho ^.^
