they're like caramel too, right?
omg the coconut oil craze
my sister was obsessed with it
Yeah apparently Keebler also makes them too, a lot cheaper and it's the same exact cookie too. GREEDY GIRL SCOUT BASTARDS! lol
Though I was once a Girl Scout, but back then the boxes weren't $5 a box...

Grasshoppers are Thin mints and they also have the peanut butter chocolate girl scout cookies. I have a conspiracy that the Girl Scouts actually get their cookies from Keebler, and just rename them and jack up the price.
"Oh, the tired horror!"
yeah she's a cat
a coffee-footed cat now
crystal: my friend told me its actually the opposite, it's a who has the rights to produce these cookies rights thing
keebler, through some absurd loophole, became able to sell those cookies
idk i didn't understand it but my friend explained it to me
SO Girl Scout makes the cookies and then Keebler sells them for a cheaper price under a different name? *head scratch*
"Oh, the tired horror!"
basically, yes
well, girl scout cookie price is higher because they're meant for fundraising
cost of production + profit for company + fundraising for girl scout troop =$$$
while keebler is just selling them for profit, so they can be cheaper
But Girl Scout prices have gone up sooo much since I was a Girl Scout. I think they at that time was like $2.50 a box. Now they're twice as that.
"Oh, the tired horror!"
yeah, inflation...the price of everything has gone up
orz
oh my goodness it was nearly 20 years ago i was a girl scout i'm old
Yeah I started as a brownie and did the four years of Juniors. I never did go into Cadets. It was early 90's when I was in troop 157.
"Oh, the tired horror!"
I actually was the top seller in my troop. Which pissed the troop leader off IMMENSELY because she wanted her daughter to be best. Towards the end they wanted to transfer me to another troop so her daughter was best again. It was because of my sales of like $3000 or so (going door to door and my grandfather selling some at work) did we get to go to a water park, Girl Scout Camp, and do a plethora of crafts and stuff.
"Oh, the tired horror!"
- Looking back on girl scouts I started realizing that it's more just a loophole to get free child labor to sell those cookies
Also girls scouts is super lame compared to boy scouts
